Dawn Prentiss is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer and owner
and proprietor of Semper Fido.   Dawn teaches group classes
and conducts private behavioral consultations in Brooklyn
and NYC.  Dawn believes that an early education for dogs
and puppies can make all the difference in having a
well-mannered family dog, rather than a stress and
annoyance.  She stresses rules and structure for dogs and
families as routine implemented in a non-confrontational way.
She believes training and having a dog should be fun and
structures her classes and privates with easy exercises that can
be incorporated into you and your dog's daily routine.

In February 2007, Dawn opened
Semper Fido's Dog Training
School
in Prospect Heights/Clinton Hill section of Brooklyn and
is pleased to announce a move to
Park Slope location in
February 2008
.  The school is one of  the only dedicated family
dog training spaces in NYC.  The expanded services, in
addition to puppy and obedience classes, include agility,
tricks and classes in Spanish.

Dawn is actively training and competing in agility with her
4
year old Shetland Sheepdog,
Whisper.
